The Porsche Taycan GTS Sport Turismo is a work of art. From the sleek lines of the exterior to the luxurious interior, this car is designed for those who appreciate the finer things in life. But, don’t let the pretty face fool you—the Taycan GTS Sport Turismo is not just a pretty face. With a twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 590 horsepower, this car can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds.
New Variants
The latest body variant of the innovative electric sports vehicle, together with the sedan and the Cross Turismo model, completes the Taycan model family, which includes a total of three design variants. The new version is aimed at customers who want to combine the practicality of the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo model in everyday driving with the “on-road” dynamics of the Taycan sports sedan.
Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo offers several interesting novelties; one of them is certainly the panoramic roof with the Sunshine Control function that provides electric glare protection, is available with rear-wheel drive, and comes with the most up-to-date equipment for comfort and safety as well as an entertainment and information system.
Faster Charging
It is important to note that the latest member of the Taycan model comes with an improved charging option, and both batteries can be charged from five to 80% in just 22 minutes and 30 seconds.
The Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo arrived on the market at the end of February 2022 in the GTS version, and the remaining variants came three weeks later in mid-March.
Like the Turbo, the GTS is only offered with a large battery with a gross capacity of 93.4 kWh (83.7 kWh net). The highest charging power should be the same 270 kW and charge 10 to 80% of the battery in 22.5 minutes.
Interior
The luxurious interior of the Porsche Panamera GTS is a sight to behold. The 18-way adaptive sport seats and generously telescopic steering column make it easy to find a comfortable driving position. You’ll love the microfiber faux suede upholstery but be prepared for the heavy Race Tex that covers the steering wheel, headliner, roof pillars, sun visors, and many other prominent cockpit features.
Contrasting red stitching can be found throughout the cabin, along with black brushed aluminum or matte-black carbon fiber trim. If you’re lucky enough to have a panoramic sunroof, you’ll appreciate the new Variable Light Control system, which allows you to individually switch from fully opaque to transparent via touchscreen.
GTS Speed
The new Taycan GTS also has one electric motor on each axle and total power of 380 kW, i.e., 440 kW in over-boost, which with a torque of 850 Nm enables acceleration to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds.
The GTS is somewhat more efficient than the other Taycan models and, according to the WLTP cycle, has a range of 424 to 504 km. Average consumption ranges from 20.3 to 24.1 kWh/100 km.
Also, the adaptive air suspension, as well as the optional rear-wheel steering, is specially adapted to the GTS, which should result in better driving characteristics.

This specifically means that the GTS Sport Turismo also accelerates to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 156 mph but in combination with 45 mm more headroom and 1,200 liters of luggage space.
